Week 2 - Part A, 2007

At the Hop with '50's Night

'50's Night at the Nicolet Diner was the theme for the special Dining Hall Evening that took place on Saturday, June 30th. Everyone had fun dressing up in garb from the 1950s and had a great time eating burgers and floats to tunes of real rock n' roll.

Cathy, Kelly, and Georgi - 1950's Nicolet staff.

Super Porkies Backpacking - New for '07

By popular request, a new trail adventure was added to the Nicolet tripping program for 2007. The Super Porkies campers challenged themselves, along with leaders, Jeremy, Alicia, and Caitie, to a four-day trek through the forests and along the shores of Lake Superior in the Porcupine Mountains. These Advanced Campers will be super prepared for their Isle Royale honors trip in 2008!

The Campfire committee leads songs and antics during the 2007 traditional opening campfire to welcome all the campers to another wonderful summer at Nicolet. This summer's cabin skits are based on the theme of music eras and give campers a chance to be creative and have fun performing for the rest of camp.

More traditional camp songs led by Cathy, Katy, Christine, and Caitlin - the "old timers"!
