Week 6, 2007  Special Marathon Day Issue

Green and Buff Forever - Marathon Day!

Among one of the most traditional and exciting days at Nicolet is Marathon Day and the annual competition between the Green and Buff Teams. Points are scored for original songs, banners, cheers, spirit, and a variety of team sports. The ultimate deciding factor is the final big event, the marathon race, which includes every camper and most every activity in camp. A super day of high energy and good fun!

It is a staff honor to be chosen as a team captain for this high energy day. The 2007 captains are: Cara, Andee, Laura, and LP. Creativity and enthusiasm rules!

Volleyball Proves to be Close Match

Some of the longest volleys in the history of Nicolet volleyball made this match a great spectator event. After much cheering from fellow team members and a supreme effort by all the players, the Green Team won the match by a close margin.
