![]() ![]() "The Music Man!" A wonderful job was done by all who participated! Special Thanks to Drama Director Kirsten McCrossen! From The Editor: by Jeremy Starz During this past week at camp, many wonderful memories and thoughts have been shared by campers and staff during awards ceremonies, Candelight Vespers, and Final Campfire. These memories and thoughts have been very touching, and serve as a reminder about how really special a summer at camp can be. With Final Banquet just a few hours away, I would like to share with you the following special thought as written and read by Nicolet camper Sarah Wohlman at Candlelight Vespers: taken place. However, the one thing that has stayed constant is the "Spirit of Nicolet." Spirit is what lingers in every activity and cabin. It keeps friend- ships and preserves events that happened at camp, year after year. The "Spirit of Nicolet" burns in everyone's heart. From the past to the future, it has and will be the one thing which stays with the camp. And it extends to you; May the Spirit of Nicolet Burn in Your Heart Forever. What a wonderful thought to keep with us as we say our "so-longs" and head back home and off to school. And perhaps it serves as a heart-warming thought which might take the icy edge off the chilliest of winter days. Thanks for checking out this edition of "News from Franklin Lake." Be sure to check back early next week for pictures from Final Banquet, and for more memories and thoughts from summer 2002 at Nicolet. We wish everyone safe travels home, and keep Thinking Sunshine!
